OK....apparently tofu does not cook like chicken...which I had hoped.
I attempted to make one of my signature dishes by replacing the chicken with "extra firm" tofu. It just crumbled into little mushy piles that look like brain matter. What's worse is that I had promised Jesse a delicious vegan meal tonight AND she HATES the texture of tofu. I thought I could prove her wrong just like the time I tricked her into liking curry!
I'm not particularly proud of this one.
